Planning notes
This trip has several hotel changes and works best with a private vehicle and an early arrival on Day 1. The drive from Ella to Colombo takes much of Day 6. Leave plenty of time to reach the airport on the last day.
Make the week work for you
This route has several hotel changes, and the Ella to Colombo drive takes much of Day 6. If relaxed mornings and time at each hotel matter most, ask us to reduce the stops or add nights. An early arrival on Day 1 makes the transfer to Sigiriya easier to plan.
A hill country train journey is an option only when services and seats are available. Discuss the road alternative in your quote. Share mobility needs and activity preferences before we plan visits such as the Sigiriya climb.
